Ramp walking
This week we took care of some puppy business.
The first order of business was Daisy's first official grooming at Dippin' Dogs Groomery in Morro Bay. All of the employees were just perfect. Not only did they cut, trim and groom exactly as requested, they had fun with Daisy, even posted a video of her on their Facebook page!

Our next order of business was visiting the Veterinarian in Templeton. Las Tablas Animal Hospital provided a caring first experience for Daisy. During the well check they did a complete physical finding only one normal puppy issue that we have resolved. Daisy has been itching like crazy, so a non-itch future awaits.
The best part of the Vet visit was Daisy's interaction with the staff. The reports were that Daisy was the highlight of their day, I even had some of the staff come out and share their fun interaction!
Daisy's adventures continued with visits to the local coffee place which is a half-mile walk from the house. Madison and her friend Katelyn had some fun with Daisy posing for photos while having their breakfast. Daisy also visited Central Coast Music interacting with customers. Daisy is becoming quite the star here on the Central Coast. One quick story about how Daisy is noticed. Twice, I've had drivers stop in the middle of the street, roll down their window and tell me how beautiful she is, all while traffic is backing up. I think that's a bit too much just for paying a compliment!
This week we started ramp walking. Daisy will need to understand angles and turns while she walks with her client.

A Puppies' Point of View

Wait! What you doing? I'm sure the lady in the photo above is very nice but, really! Human Stacy told me those are my private parts, and, "BARK!", what she doin'? I'm' starting to question Human Ray's ability to make good decisions. Last week it was trucks, before that never-ending stairs and now this week, YIKES!
Then, after the long dark, human Ray took me for a drive in his truck to another place where there we other dogs. Some dogs were talking, really loud, and others were sleeping. I was just watching. Then after a few minutes, a nice lady came and took me to a room with a table. Well, I thought she was nice! Once again, they looked at my private parts! "BARK!", I said! What place is this?
After that another lady came in and talked to me while looking at the rest of my non-private parts. She was nice. After that, another lady came in and said, "Hold still, Daisy", so I did. Ouch! The big pinch behind my neck!
I've decided I need to talk to human Ray about these places. I'll open with hugs and kisses, he likes that!
Still watching out for big trucks.
