Something very special took place this week. Daisy was able to visit with her real mom for a few minutes! Becky, the breeder, decided to once again breed the same mom and dad because Daisy turned out so perfect!

This week we reviewed indoor skills starting on Tuesday as Human Ray was sick.
To start each week Daisy visits her breeder at Loveable Labradoodles in Templeton. This is a special time for her as Daisy is able to experience play with pups, mostly, her size. This particular week the owner had her miniature pups out when we pulled up. So Daisy experienced being the BIG dog for once. I noticed that Daisy played very gentle with the pups even though they were very playful in exchange. Now this is not something we trained, she just naturally understands to adjust her play depending upon her playmate. When she plays with trainers Alec and Madi, Daisy goes all out!
While inside the remainder of the week Daisy and I worked on "NOW!"with the walker as well as "wait" and "leave it". As always, Daisy did very well.

Daisy's Digs
A Puppies' Point of View
By Daisy D.
This day I played with the dogs after the long drive, human Ray reminded me that I was going to play with the small dogs today. I was very thankful, because if human Ray didn't, I would have freaked out again because I thought I would be growing like a German Mastiff dog! But no, it was just the little dogs.
But, they played hard! I mean really HARD! At first it was just one or two dogs. Then after a bit, there were more and more dogs! Dogs all over the place! YIKES! I was very calm when the little dogs started climbing me, I barked them that I was not a play toy. Then all of a sudden, all dogs in the whole world were climbing on me to where I thought I would disappear!
On the way home, human Ray turned his head around while was sitting in the back seat and said, "You now know where the term 'dog pile' comes from."
Human Ray laughed. He thinks he's so funny.
